Metis believes strongly in working hard to make a positive impact in the communities that have helped make them successful. By utilizing the skills of its employees, the Metis team has volunteered its talents to community efforts such as Habitat for Humanity, Rebuilding Together and most recently the LeBron James Family Foundation through the Promise Project. A week long effort of demolition, drywall repair/ installation and carpentry for a family of the Foundation’s program encouraging the success of Akron Public School children. Metis’ impact hasn’t gone unnoticed, either. Recently, Metis was recognized by Smart Business Magazine’s 2014 Medical Mutual Pillar Award for Community Service.
