Metis Construction Services LLC is featured in the latest issue of Properties Magazine, for our work and partnership with the Summit County Land Bank. This project was very special to Metis and the Akron Community. The mission to save this historic landmark home and update it into beautiful offices as well as community space was no small feat but we are extremely proud of the outcome.

On Tuesday, May 10th, the Greater Akron Chamber held its 2022 Annual Meeting where over 800 of Greater Akron’s business, non-profit, and civic leaders came together to network, celebrate, and reflect on the work we have accomplished over the last couple of years.
GAC presented their updated strategic plan, with priorities centering around workforce; equity and inclusion; downtown revitalization; leveraging polymers assets to advance growth; business development and support; and business advocacy. 
 
Congratulations to the 2022 H. Peter Burg Economic Development Leadership Award recipient, County Executive Ilene Shapiro. Thank you for all your work and continued dedication to this community, empowering young women and girls, supporting entrepreneurship and women in business among so many other things. You are so deserving of this award.
