For one week during August, work with a host of community partners, Nicole Curtis, and LeBron James and his Family Foundation…was this a dream? No…but it was a dream come true for 6th grader Mariah, a student in LeBron’s I Promise Program for children in the Akron Public Schools. Mariah met all of her promises to LeBron and in turn was entered into a drawing whereby 9 students won yard makeovers for their homes and sweet Mariah won a complete home and yard makeover for her family. Metis Construction was proud to be chosen as a partner company for this fantastic project! Nicole Curtis’ team from HGTV’S the Rehab Addict show filmed the whole thing, less the bloopers of course, and 6 episodes showed the exciting transformation!
